About the event
The Busan Fireworks Festival is Korea's representative seaside multimedia Fireworks Festival held at the Gwangalli Beach and Gwangan Bridge area. Starting with the 2005 APEC Summit commemorative celebration, it has become Busan's signature autumn cultural event celebrating its 21st anniversary this year. The festival showcases a large-scale seaside multimedia show, blending music and fireworks, utilizing the special lighting of Gwangan Bridge and a large-scale performance system. Through innovative performance techniques that leverage the geographical characteristics of the Gwangalli night sea and massive fireworks displays, it has established itself as a global festival attracting numerous domestic and international visitors. This year, on its 21st anniversary, the festival will decorate Busan's night sky with an even more refined storytelling and advanced seaside fireworks performances.
