About the event
The Busan Craft Beer Masters Challenge is an urban craft beer festival where breweries from across the country and consumers connect, in order to promote Busan's craft beer culture and boost the local economy. Distinctive craft beers from around the country and Busan's leading local breweries gather in one place to present beers of every kind, and participants can taste a wide variety of beers themselves and experience the appeal of craft beer. The festival's core program is the "Masters Challenge Competition", which picks the best craft beer. Brewers' skills and the quality of their beers are put to the test through scores combining a panel of professional judges and a citizen judging panel, adding tension and fun to the festival. There is also a craft beer market where you can find each brewery's signature beer, along with hands-on programs and other content that anyone can join easily and enjoy. With a wide range of food, beer pairing, busking and DJ performances and audience-participation events added, the fun runs from daytime into the night. In the evening in particular, "Beer Night" brings music and beer together, offering a space where visitors can mingle freely and share the festival's energy. Going beyond a festival for simply drinking beer, the Busan Craft Beer Masters Challenge is a signature beer-culture festival where you taste, experience, compete and enjoy, and discover Busan's craft beer culture in a new way.
