About the event
The Gwangalli M(Marvelous) Drone Show, held since 2022, signifies that "M" represents "Marvelous," meaning "amazing" or "wonderful." The lights projected by the drones blend with the night view of Gwangan Bridge, Busan's landmark, creating a sense of wonder and mystery for visitors coming to Gwangalli. The show is performed twice every Saturday evening (during winter months, October to February, at 7 PM and 9 PM; during summer months, March to September, at 8 PM and 10 PM), lasting approximately 12 minutes, and can be viewed from anywhere along the Gwangalli beach. While a regular performance features up to 1,100 drones, special events such as countdowns, Lunar New Year, and the Mid-Autumn Festival feature drone shows with up to 3,000 drones.
