Daejeo Grandma's Noodles

Daejeo Halmae Guksu, where you can enjoy various kinds of noodles and pumpkin porridge on an all-you-can-eat basis, has been designated a model price-stabilizing business by the Ministry of Security and Public Administration, Busan Metropolitan City and Gangseo-gu. You serve yourself as much of every dish as you want: take noodles and toppings such as seaweed flakes and pickled radish to your liking, then add bibim sauce to enjoy bibim guksu, or add soy sauce seasoning and pour over the anchovy broth to enjoy janchi guksu. You can also adjust the spiciness with pickled chili peppers. The anchovy broth is boiled in a gamasot over a traditional wood-fired furnace (agungi), and seeing this rare furnace is also fun. Here you can taste homemade flavor at low prices, and the place is also known as ‘Vineyard Daejeo Halmae Guksu’ because the owners tend a vineyard in front of the restaurant and open it as a rest area.
