Ibagu-gil Myeongran Road

Ibagu-gil is a themed street that captures the history and culture of Busan, a street full of stories that preserves intact the look of Busan from the opening of Busan Port during the Japanese colonial period, through the 1950s and 60s when it was home to refugees after liberation, to the 1970s and 80s, the era of industrial revival. The Ibagu-gil Myeongnan Road is a route that links the Dong-gu Tourist Information Center at Busan Station, Choryangcheon Stream with works by Sallimsup, Choryang Traditional Market, which sells many local products such as eomuk, the site of Namseon Warehouse, Busan's first logistics warehouse, the wall gallery installed on the wall of Choryang Elementary School, the Wall of Notable Figures, 168 Dosirakguk, the 168 Stairs, the Myeongnan Brand Lab, a showroom and shop for myeongnan products such as myeongnan eomuk, a specialty of Dong-gu, the Ibagu Charging Station, the Ibagu Workshop, which runs a village archive serving as a local history museum and an observation deck, and the Mangyang-ro Sanbok-doro Exhibition Hall. It is a themed street where the joys, sorrows and history of local residents live on, offering historical exploration and beautiful views of Busan Port.
