Haenyeo Grandma's House is an abalone restaurant in Yeonhwa-ri, Gijang-gun, Busan. The signature dish is abalone porridge, which, with its rich broth and generous amount of abalone, makes a hearty, nourishing meal. There are also many other ways to enjoy abalone, including abalone teppanyaki, abalone sashimi, abalone mulhoe and an abalone seafood course, giving you a wide range of choices. An assorted seafood sashimi platter piled high with seasonal seafood such as sea cucumber, live octopus, sea squirt and turban shell is also available. There is often a wait at lunchtime and on weekends, so it is best to allow plenty of time for your visit. After your meal, it is also recommended as a travel course to explore the nearby National Fisheries Science Museum and Orangdae Park and enjoy nature and marine culture.
