Haedongjip is a legendary pork soup (dwaeji gukbap) restaurant in Nampo-dong, serving its signature milky bone broth since before most visitors were born. Dwaeji gukbap is Busan's most iconic dish — a bowl of rich white pork bone broth with sliced pork, served with rice, green onion kimchi, and fermented shrimp on the side. The soul of the dish is in the broth: simmered for hours from pork bones until it turns opaque and deeply savory.
