Hadongjip Dwaeji Gukbap is an original Dwaeji Gukbap restaurant that has held its place in Nampo-dong, Busan, for decades. A bowl of Gukbap, with thick slices of pork Suyuk over a milky broth made by simmering beef leg bones and pork bones from early morning, is the very soul food of Busan locals. Busan-style Dwaeji Gukbap, eaten by putting rice into the soup and served with salted shrimp, pickled chives and kkakdugi, differs from that of other regions in its rich bone broth deeply infused with the flavor of the meat. It opens early in the morning and is also popular as a hangover soup, making it a genuine Busan eatery that any traveler visiting the Nampo-dong and Jagalchi area should stop by. It also offers excellent value for money and is one of the top Gukbap spots among locals.
