Haeundae World Beer Festival Alley is a strip of international beer bars and gastropubs near the beach in Haeundae-gu. In summer (typically July–August), the alley hosts the Haeundae World Beer Festival, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors who come to sample beers from Germany, Belgium, the UK, the US, and Korea alongside BBQ food stalls and live music. Outside of festival season, the individual bars remain open year-round, offering tap beers from around the world on breezy outdoor terraces with sea views. The festive summer atmosphere — salty air, music, and cold beer on the beach — is a quintessential Busan summer experience.
