Taejongdae Resort Park
Taejongdae Resort Park Overview
Taejongdae (태종대) is a breathtaking coastal park at the southernmost tip of Yeongdo Island, where dramatic cliff faces plunge 60–80 meters straight into the churning sea. Legend has it that King Taejong of Silla practiced archery here, dazzled by the scenery. The park features a 4.3km loop trail through dense pine and camellia forests leading to the iconic lighthouse, Mangburi Cliff, and a panoramic viewpoint from which — on clear days — the Japanese island of Tsushima is visible on the horizon. A miniature train (Danubi Train) circles the park for those who prefer not to walk. The coastal rocks at the base are popular with anglers. Taejongdae is a must-visit for anyone seeking dramatic natural scenery in Busan.
