Busan Jungang Park Overview
Yongdusan Park was established in 1986 as an integrated park, combining the former Daechung Park and Daejin Park for efficient management and to provide citizens with better recreational spaces. The former Daechung Park is located in the foothills of Gubongsan Mountain and includes within its boundaries the Korea Democracy Movement Memorial Hall, Democracy Park, and Chonghun Tower, which honors the spirits of military and police officers who died fighting for the nation after Korea's founding. The former Daejin Park is located in the foothills of Gudeoksan and Eumgwan Mountain and includes within its boundaries the Gudeok Folk Art Hall and Jagalchi Court. Nearby tourist attractions include Yongdusan Park, Bokpyeongsan Sports Park, and Jagalchi Market.
