Dalmaji Hill Overview

Dalmae Dongsan is a trail and park located on Dalmae Street in Haeundae-gu, Busan. It is situated at the midpoint of Waewon-san, which connects Haeundae Beach to Cheongsapo. The Dalmae Peak, surrounded by dense forest, offers a view of Moon Out (Yeonchul), one of the Eight Views of Korea, which has long been favored by poets and visitors. Even in modern times, many visitors come to view the full moon during the lunar new year, especially on the full moon day. Particularly in spring, cherry trees along the path bloom beautifully, creating a magnificent scene. The Haewoljeong, established in 1997, is also a symbolic landmark of Dalmae Park. The area also includes outdoor concert hall, Dalmae sculpture park, and wildflower garden, where visitors can enjoy both viewing the moon and admiring flowers at once.
