Geumgang Botanical Garden

As the first privately operated botanical garden in Korea, it was established as a comprehensive botanical garden to provide a resting place for citizens of Busan. There are approximately 2,300 species of plants, including over 560 tropical species, with more than 20 species of palms and over 540 species of succulents such as cacti growing there. Additionally, beautiful plants create a scenic landscape within the botanical garden, and various works using natural stones and resting facilities are equipped, making it not only a place for emotional relaxation for urban residents but also utilized for botanical research and education. Geumgang Botanical Garden features an artificial waterfall, natural stones, and landscaping works, and there is an observation greenhouse where visitors can enjoy a wonderful atmosphere along with various plants. Geumgang Park, which is nearby, operates a Cable Car, and there are other good tourist spots such as the Busan Folk Arts Center, which inherits and preserves Dongnae Yaryu and Dongnae Hakchum, and the Busan Marine Natural History Museum, which is Korea's first specialized museum of marine natural history.
