Daecheoncheon Stream Overview

Daecheoncheon is a stream originating from a valley between Geumjeongsan Paribong and Daeryungbong, flowing down to the west gate of Geumjeongsanseong Fortress, passing through Hwamyeong Sports Complex, and eventually feeding into Nakdonggang River. In the middle of Daecheoncheon, there is a large pond called Aegeuiso (a marshy depression) formed by a 4m waterfall. Daecheoncheon features numerous attractions such as the west gate of Geumjeongsanseong Fortress, Hwamyeong Arboretum, Geumjeongsan Dulle-gil Trail, Aegeuiso waterfall, beautiful gullies, and lush forests, making it a well-known urban recreational destination frequently visited by summer tourists and Busan residents. Well-maintained walking paths and bicycle roads are available along both sides of Daecheoncheon.
