Cheonmasan Sky Observatory Overview
Cheonmasan Sky Observatory is known as the 'photo hot spot' of Cheonmasan-ro. At the top of the observatory you can see a sculpture of a married couple holding hands and gazing in the same direction, because this was one of the settings of the film 'Gukje Market' (Ode to My Father), which drew 14 million viewers. With the completion of the 'Cheonmasan Sanbok Village Trace Trail Project' in 2019, Cheonmasan-ro was improved for more convenient use. The old charm of the Sanbok-doro was preserved while a neat, tidy look was added. Today, lighting and pedestrian decks have been installed around Cheonmasan-ro, making safe night walks possible.
