Eunjinsa Temple

Jangan-eup, Gilsun-ri, near Jangancheon: Eunjinsa Temple is a temple filled with over three thousand species of wild flowers, a hydrangea scroll, and lotus blossoms. Eunjinsa Temple is not large in size, but during your stay, there are many beautiful flowers that make your eyes happy. In summer, golden chrysanthemums welcome you, and in the pond in front of Yongwangjeon, where the deity protecting the sea and water is enshrined, there are large groups of eel fish, and hydrangeas and macaulean flowers greet you. There are also the Hapdae-hwa-sang, which are statues that make you feel good just by viewing them, and the Bimukkobo, a bodhisattva symbolizing compassion and blessings, who always smiles. Though not a large temple, it has well-equipped, charming halls such as Dugul Daebu-dang, Soebaek-dang, Yaksah Daebul-dang, Sansin-dang, Jajang-dang, Gungyang-dang, Gongyang-dang, and Yondang, and it is a temple with many scenic spots such as ponds and waterfalls.
