Dongnae Cultural Center Overview

Dongnae Cultural Center was established to promote and preserve local culture and inherit its traditions, and to enhance the community's pride and cultural vitality through the hosting of various cultural events, in order to reflect the high cultural level of the Dongnae area. It opened as a non-profit organization in 1998 and moved to the Dongnae Cultural Center in 1999. It operates three major programs: organizing local cultural events, conducting cultural and artistic educational programs, and supporting government-funded cultural initiatives. It offers distinctive programs such as art and culture lectures, historical festivals, ancestral offerings, and local heritage surveys and research, fully fulfilling its original mission. The recreation of historical events in the Dongnae area has received positive evaluations as a unique feature of the Busan Dongnae Cultural Center and as a continuation of Busan's traditional heritage.
