Sasang Cultural Center Overview
The Sasang Cultural Center, established in 1999, is a Cultural Center founded with the goal of providing residents of Sasang with high-level cultural experiences and improving the quality of life. Its main programs include cultural and artistic promotion projects, educational programs, and local cultural revitalization initiatives. For cultural and artistic promotion, it conducts activities such as performances at Dandurim Hall, "Culture Day," and the Sasang Gangbyeon Festival. For cultural and artistic education, it operates a wide range of programs including folk songs, singing classes, Korean dance, and Pilates. Additionally, it strives to research and preserve local culture through initiatives such as publishing the Sasang Cultural Journal and conducting research on Sasang local history, and works to help people gain a correct understanding of traditional culture.
