Mipo Station Overview
On December 2, 2013, the double-track section between Udong and Gijang in the Haeundae downtown area was completed, and the Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk along the coastal scenic route of the Donghae Southern Line has disappeared from history and is now developed into a tourist facility. The site of the coastal railway, which spans the scenic coastal views of Haeundae, Mipo, Cheongsapo, and Gwangan Bridge, currently operates the Beach Train connecting Mipo and Songjeong stations, along with a Sky Capsule. A wooden deck coastal walkway has been constructed beside the Mipo station, allowing visitors to enjoy the coastal scenery, Dongbaekseom Island, Gwangan Bridge, Igidae, and Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk. Mipo station is also well known as a filming location for many movies, and visitors can recall movie scenes and cherish their memories here.
