Sea Fishing around Yongho-dong Overview
Yongho-dong shore station is an outcropping terrain located between Suhyung Bay and Busan Port, with Oryukdo, one of Busan's most famous landmarks, directly in front. Outside-line fishing takes place primarily at Igidae's rocky outcrops adjacent to Suhyung Bay and Oryukdo's rocky outcrops, as well as at the breakwater in front of Xinxianda, the northern breakwater of Busan Port. Igidae is a popular fishing spot due to its extensive rocky terrain and wide fishing area, where species such as bank eel, wakaba, mangoste, and zebrafish are commonly caught.
At Oryukdo, fishing is done on rocky areas, with species such as nongae, mangoste, gajami, and noraemi being caught, and night fishing is also possible in some areas. The surrounding waters are renowned for catching bolok and reokgi through outside-line fishing. Although Oryukdo lacks dedicated docking facilities, fishing boats cannot enter during high waves, but access is possible during calm seas, allowing entry for fishing. Fishing boats depart from Yongho shore station to nearby rocky outcrops and Oryukdo, the fishing spots.
