Myeongji Migratory Bird Observatory

Myeongji Migratory Bird Observatory introduces the pearl of the mud at the lower reaches of the Nakdonggang River. It is a place where approximately 150 species of migratory birds arrive every winter, allowing visitors to directly feel the changes of the seasons. From the observatory, one can closely observe the formations of various migratory birds such as mallards, swans, and black-headed gulls. Telescopes are available for free use, and visitors can enjoy the ecology of migratory birds through the photos and explanations on the signboards. As a famous spot for sunset viewing, many people visit on weekends to admire the magnificent scenery of the tidal flats and migratory birds.
