Bugok Sangga Market Overview
Bugok Sangga Market was established when retail shops were leased in a 1978 residential-commercial complex. A market street formed around the commercial building, where the shops inside the building are called "Bugok Sangga Market," and the entire market street formed around the building is also referred to as "Bugok Market." In 2005, it was recognized as a Traditional Market.
Inside the building, there are shops selling dried seafood, supermarkets, and raw fish restaurants, and around the market, there are mostly shops dealing in vegetables, fruits, and household goods. All shops have joined the Onnuri Shopping Card program to promote traditional market vitality. The Bugok Market, which offers various attractions and food items, operates by installing tents along the alleyways regardless of weather conditions.
