Huinnyeoul Culture Village Overview

Huinnyeoul Culture Village is a small art village built on the coastal cliffs of Yeongseon-dong, Yeongdo-gu, and is nicknamed "the Santorini of Korea." The contrast of the blue sea, white walls and red roofs creates a Mediterranean atmosphere, and the village is famous as an Instagram hotspot.

Located on the cliffs across Yeongdodaegyo Bridge, the village was formed when refugees from the Korean War (6.25) settled here, and it has since been transformed into a charming art village through public art projects. It is also well known as a filming location for many films and dramas, including "The Attorney," "The Outlaws" and "I Almost Fell in Love Alone."

At the Film Archive (open 10:00–18:00), you can hear the stories of films connected to this village. The Jeoryeong Coastal Walk below the cliffs may be affected by construction, so check whether it is open before visiting.
