Huinnyeoul Culture Village

Huinnyeoul Cultural Village (흰여울문화마을) on Yeongdo Island is Busan's most romantic and photogenic hillside hamlet — a crescent of whitewashed cottages clinging to sea cliffs above the Korea Strait. The village's name means 'white rapids,' from the streams that once cascaded down the slope. Settled by Korean War refugees, it was later transformed into an arts enclave. Today the alleyways are filled with cozy cafés, art studios, and galleries, each offering a different angle of the sparkling blue sea below. It served as a filming location for the acclaimed Korean film 'The Attorney' (2013). The Jeollyeong Coastal Trail connects the village to Songdo Beach for a scenic two-hour cliff walk. Best visited on a clear afternoon for the turquoise sea views.
