Oryukdo Skywalk
Oryukdo Skywalk Overview
Oryukdo Skywalk is a glass-floored observation platform jutting 35 meters out over the cliffs at the very point where the East Sea meets the South Sea — the symbolic maritime gateway of Busan. Visitors walk on transparent glass panels with waves crashing 35 meters below, and the Oryukdo Islands — five or six islets depending on the tide — float majestically offshore. The islands have been a symbol of Busan since the Joseon era, appearing in countless poems and paintings. The Skywalk connects directly to the start of Igidae Coastal Trail, making it a natural starting point for a morning hike. Entry is free. On weekends the site is busy, so an early morning or weekday visit is recommended for the best experience.
