Gwangan Bridge Overview

Gwangan Bridge (Diamond Bridge) is a 7.42 km-long suspension bridge with eight lanes in both directions, connecting Namcheon-dong in Suyeong-gu and U-dong in Haeundae-gu, Busan; it opened in 2003. It is the second-longest bridge in Korea and Busan's most iconic landmark.

Every evening from 7 to 10 p.m., 2.2 million LED lights are turned on for a dynamic light show. The night view of Gwangan Bridge seen head-on from Gwangalli Beach is synonymous with Busan's night scenery. The night view from the deck at Millak Waterfront Park is also a top photo spot.

Every October during the Fireworks Festival, the fireworks bursting above Gwangan Bridge captivate 1 million spectators. Part of the deck is also popular as a night drive course for small vehicles (including motorcycles and bicycles).
