Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market
Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market Overview
Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market opens every evening inside the historic Bupyeong Market in Nampo-dong — the most lively and authentic night market in Busan. The market's name (kkangtong = tin can) dates to the Korean War era when US military tin cans were sold here. Today the narrow stalls overflow with takoyaki, cheese-filled corn dogs, waffle ice cream, gyoza, seed hotteok, and international street foods from Vietnam, Russia, Japan, and beyond. The atmosphere is festive and crowded — lanes barely wide enough for two people fill with music, laughter, and the sizzle of cooking. A perfect evening stop after exploring BIFF Square and Gukje Market next door. Stalls open at 6pm (5pm on weekends).
