Unification Asiad Park

The Unification Asia-Pacific Park located in Dadae-dong, Saha-gu, Busan, was established to commemorate the fact that the North Korean cheering squad, aboard the Mankyoungbongho, docked at Dadaepo Harbor during the 2002 Asian Games and stayed there, and to expand the limited public resting spaces within the city. The park features sculptures such as the Asian Games torch depicted as a man wearing a hat, a light monument shaped like the torch, and a wall resembling the Mankyoungbongho made of glass. The park has well-equipped facilities such as a scenic trail, eco-friendly restrooms for pets, and designated pathways for guardians, making it a pleasant place for families and pet owners to walk together. Though not large, it is widely used by local residents for walking. Nearby are Dadaepo Beach and Morundae, making it convenient to explore together.
