Yongdusan Park & Busan Tower
Yongdusan Park & Busan Tower Overview
Yongdusan Park sits atop a 49m hill in the heart of Jung-gu, crowned by the 120m Busan Tower — one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. The park's name means 'Dragon Head Mountain' from a legend that a dragon is buried beneath the hill. The tower's observation deck offers sweeping 360° views over Busan Port, Nampo-dong, Yeongdo, and on clear days, distant islands. The park itself is beautifully landscaped with flowering cherry trees (spectacular in April), and contains statues of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and a large flower clock. Surrounding the park are BIFF Square, Gukje Market, and Jagalchi Market — all within easy walking distance, making Yongdusan an ideal hub for exploring central Busan.
